Editing a Public User Account
You can make edits to a public user account if it requires modification. For example, if a user wants to reset their password or change their user ID, you can update their user account registration information with the specified request.
To edit a registered public user account
- Access the Public User portlet (Accessing the Public User Portlet). 
- Click the user account that you want to edit from the PublicUser list portlet. - Civic Platform displays the public user account registration details in the detail portlet. 
- Enter the modifications in the applicable fields. For a description of each field, see Table 1. 
- Click Submit. 
- Click Registered Agencies record tab. 
- Click the appropriate button from the toolbar to reflect the desired status for the account. For more information about account status, see Changing a Public User Password.
